Harvest Report - 2001

Cool spring conditions delayed budburst, and a mild summer followed by a cool September enhanced acidity. Ripening was slower, and high-altitude sites risked under-ripeness. Whites showed freshness and tension; reds were lean but structured. This year saw the rise of site zoning to better align varietals with terroir.
